OUR MODALITIES

  • Drawing, creative writing, movement, dance, ritual. Focus on process and experience, not product or technique. Sometimes an image or gesture can express our truth better than talking about our experience. With the medicine of creativity, we can connect to deeper aspects of self and discover new ways of being.

  • Build mind-body connection and somatic awareness. Learn to be more "in" your body through accessible, guided explorations of movement, breath, sound, and touch.

  • Gentle, non-invasive, holistic touch. We listen to the deep, subtle, fluid rhythms of your body and support homeostasis. Especially good for nervous system regulation and trauma healing. Done clothed on a table.

OUR AIMS

Some Possible Aims of our Work Together:

  • “Coming Home” to the Body // Body Awareness // Mind-Body Connection

  • Trauma Healing // Nervous System Regulation // Emotional Processing

  • Repatterning Healthy Attachment // Healing Relational Trauma

  • Stress Relief // Self Care // Well-Being // Health

  • Pain, Injury, and Physical Healing

  • Creative Expression // Personalized Ritual

  • Psychedelic Preparation & Integration

ABOUT NATAN

Natan (CST, RSMT, RSME, MA) is a trauma-informed somatic bodyworker, somatic movement therapist, and expressive arts educator. Through a range of body-based modalities, he supports clients and students in coming home to themselves—feeling more at ease and alive in their bodies, authentic in their expression, and aligned with their true nature.

Natan met Anna Halprin when she was 95 and was one of her last mentees before her passing at 100. On core faculty at the Tamalpa Institute since 2016, he carries forward her legacy of using movement, dance, and the arts as powerful vehicles for healing and transformation.

At the core of this work is the Tamalpa Life/Art Process, a unique approach to personal development, therapy, collective creativity and art making that has made significant contributions to the field. The combination of somatics with the arts is profound in its invitation to engage our humanity, make meaning of our lives, connect with ourselves deeply, and discover new possibilities from the direct, immediate experience of the sensing, moving body. The arts help us face our lives as a mirror; creativity helps us to imagine what is possible; our bodies enable us to embody it all with awareness — what is, and what could be.

As a somatic bodyworker, Natan offers a holistic approach grounded in reverence for the body’s inherent intelligence. He works collaboratively with clients, serving as a compassionate and relationally attuned guide, inviting mindful awareness of sensation, emotion, thought, and the therapeutic relationship as pathways for healing. His approach combines Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Hakomi Mindfulness-Based Somatic Psychotherapy and Relational Somatic Healing. The combination emphasizes: present moment awareness of the client’s own experience; integration between body, emotion, and mind; trusting in the natural, healing force within each person; and remembering that healing happens in relationship.

Natan also offers Ketamine-Assisted Bodywork and Psychedelic Preparation and Integration,
supporting clients with releasing stored trauma and tensions in the body and translating insights into
real, embodied change.
